She then went on to production stage manage three more Off-Broadway shows, Funikijam’s Totally Awesome Summer, Mandela, and Trial on the Potomac: The Impeachment of Richard Nixon. Furthermore, Aurora had the opportunity to work with INTAR Theater stage managing Baby Steps for their MicroTEATRO summer performances.
Beyond stage management, Aurora interned as front of house for The Classical Theater of Harlem’s productions, Seize the King and Bryant Park Picnic Performance where she was overseen by the general managers Ryan Ervin and Michael Windham who showed her her love for general management. She has worked for Edmund Gaynes for 6 months as an associate general manager and recently, Aurora received her first general management credit general managing a one woman comedy show called The Bronx Babe.
Prior to moving to NYC, Aurora was located in California studying at Idyllwild Art’s Academy Performing Arts Boarding School where she became wildly passionate about arts education for elementary students. In her junior and senior year, Aurora produced & production managed two touring productions of children’s shows that toured to over 18 elementary schools. Additionally, she helped create weekend theater classes for the local K-6th grade students and participated in the SMARTS outreach program where the high school students went to the local elementary school to teach different forms of art.
